Mumbai has an Inclusive Play space developed by the Hope Foundation, with the support of the RustomBaug Association in RustomBaug, Byculla. Spearheaded by a dynamic parent, Cyrus Bagvadia, this play space, inaugurated on 19 Dec 2010, has many innovative ideas that would make any child happy. A wall to climb onto, a tyre swing-cum-trampoline, a horizontal balancing rope, safe swings are some of the new play equipments installed. The parents' group is now gearing up to look at other play areas in Mumbai where this can be replicated.
Inputs were given to a Citizens’ group in Mangalore who lobbied the Mangalore Municipal Corporation. The Inclusive play space named ‘Chilli Pilli’ in M G park, Mannaguda was inaugurated on 30 December 2011.
